Chamomile or camomile is the common name for several daisy-like plants of the family Asteraceae. Two of the species, Matricaria recutita (German chamomile) and Anthemis nobilis are commonly used to make herbal infusions for beverages. Also there another types of chamomile which are available in iran such as Chamomilla recutiata and feverfew which is know as Tanacetum parthenium. Also anacyclus pyrethrum which is known as yellow chamomile in Iran is grown is some states.
The whole family of Asteraceae are grown in different states in Iran but the major product is collected from Ardebil State (north-west of Iran) and Fars State ( Central-south of Iran).
